Maronite Monks Of Jesus Mary and Joseph

[HYMN]
Glory to you, marvelous One, our Light,
Your pure light has dispersed the darkness,
And creatures are illumined by the glow of your countenance.
We raise our plea to Christ, the Most High,
Who revealed himself to us in his hidden glory.
Let us rejoice together in sweet hope;
Our night will end and the dawn will appear.
Then we shall behold your splendid light.
(audio chanted by the Monks during Ramsho or Vespers)
[HYMN]
Christos Anesti...
Christ is risen from the dead, by death he conquered death and to those in the grave he granted life.
Christos Anesti ek nekron, thanato thanaton patisas, kai tis en tis mnimasi zoin harisamenos.

We are the Maronite Monks of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, a new monastic order established in 2011, in the Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon of Los Angeles. This Eastern rite eparchy (diocese) serves 50,000 registered Maronite Catholics (and many more unregistered) in 42 churches and missions of the western United States, is under the authority of Bishop Elias Zaidan and is in union with Rome. We purchased 65 acres of land in Castle Rock, in the Southwestern region of the State of Washington in 2014. On this land, we have recently started construction of the Sacred Heart Monastery, which once complete, will accommodate a cloistered community of up to 20 monks. This new order is the only one of its kind in the eparchy. The monks hope to one day also provide a retreat house for both religious and laity
